Performance & Handling
Jaguar has a long-standing reputation for creating performance-oriented vehicles, and the F-Pace certainly upholds that tradition. With improved ride quality, the 2022 F-Pace stands out as one of the top luxury SUVs available in terms of driving dynamics. One notable aspect of the F-Pace’s performance is its steering, which provides a responsive and engaging driving experience. The steering has a lot of feedback, allowing the driver to feel connected to the road and have a sense of control.
The F-Pace we tested had the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that produces 250 horsepower. While this may not be the most powerful engine available in the F-Pace lineup, it still offers a good amount of power. The turbocharged engine delivers a good balance of power and efficiency, providing ample acceleration and responsiveness. It took our tester 7.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h, while it’s not the fastest time in its class, it’s good enough for daily driving.

This alone makes this SUV an excellent choice for those who prioritize utility and practicality in their luxury SUV. The spacious cargo area provides ample room to accommodate a wide range of items, from luggage and groceries to larger or bulkier objects. One of the standout features that contribute to the F-Pace’s versatility is the 40/20/40-split folding rear seats. This configuration allows for flexible cargo management, enabling users to customize the seating and cargo area as needed. This is particularly useful when transporting items such as car seats or long goods, as it allows for a combination of seating and cargo space depending on the specific requirements.
There is a decent amount of storage space inside the cabin which makes it easy to store smaller personal items. Additionally, child safety seat anchors are easily accessible which simplifies the process of installing a forward-facing child seat.
